IV International Festival-Contest of National Cultures and Folklore
ALL NATIONS ARE WELCOME

The absolute winner is rewarded with 50 000 rubles, Honorary title “The Best Teacher of the Festival-contest” confer on their teacher
Festival-contest nominations:
Folk singing
Folk choreography
Folk theatre
Folk instrumental performance
Theatre of ethnographic costume
1.03.2021 – 1.10.2021 : accepting applications and contest videos.
28.11.2021 : Gala concert attended by Absolute Grand Prix and Grand Prix winners, 1st degree Laureates and some of the 2nd degree Laureates
(by the decision of the jury).
If the epidemiological situation is unfavorable, the Gala concert will be held online and published on 25.12.2021.
Results of the contest are announced at Gala concert or online Gala concert.
Participants who have performed winning solo performances in contest nominations (the 1st degree Laureates, Grand Prix and Absolute Grand Prix winners)
have opportunity to get a letter of recommendation from the Directorate of the festival-contest when applying to Russian music Universities and Colleges.
The founders and organizers of festival-contest are:
Ministry of Culture of the Novgorod Region, Administration of the City of Veliky Novgorod,
Union of Cities of the Center and North-West of Russia, Novgorod Municipal Children's Music School of Russian Folklore".
The festival-contest is held with the assistance of the State Russian House of Folk Art named after Vasily Polenov.
